Everybody Loves Raymond's Tacos
About This Spot
At Everybody Loves Raymond's Tacos, the moment you pull into the unassuming frontage road off I-35 in San Antonio, you step into a world where casual comfort meets hearty, unapologetic flavor. This is a neighborhood spot where the rhythm slows down just enough to savor good food and easy company. The atmosphere hums with a relaxed energy—part comfort food haven, part local gathering place—where friendly faces and genuine smiles invite you to settle in.
Inside, the space feels thoughtfully warm and approachable, with a lively buzz that carries through both the indoor seating and a charming outdoor area that catches the Texas breeze. The hum of ceiling fans, the clink of glasses served in those distinctive mini pitchers, and the occasional playful tease over the generous portions all add to a sense of belonging rather than simply dining out.
Here, burgers are crafted with care and arrive juicy and satisfying, paired effortlessly with sides like crispy onion rings or perfectly seasoned fries that tempt you to linger over every bite. The menu weaves in a playful Tex-Mex spirit—from zesty jalapeño poppers to bold barbecue flavors—that keeps each visit feeling fresh and just a little bit adventurous. And the drinks—whether it’s classic iced tea or that nostalgic hint of Koolaid—bring a touch of homey charm that doesn’t go unnoticed.
What truly shines through, though, is the people behind the scene. The staff carry a warmth that feels more like visiting an old friend than waiting on a table. Despite the humble setting and occasional quirks like a lively ceiling fan or a parking lot that demands a bit of patience, the sincerity of the experience holds strong. This is not just about the food; it’s about the slower, sweeter moments woven in between bites and conversations, a place where neighbors might bump into each other and leave feeling a little more connected than when they arrived.
Every visit to Everybody Loves Raymond's Tacos offers that quietly joyful reminder of why we come back to local spots—the comfort of familiarity paired with the delight of discovering your new favorite burger or side, served up with a side of genuine hospitality.

The burgers were deliciously juicy! They make them when you order them. So make sure your patient. It's wirth the wait. Onion Rings were great. Waitress was so sweet. I loved that their drinks are served in mini pitchers. And, they offer Kool-aid as one of your drinks! How cool is that! I couldn't even finish half of one. That's how big they are.

I truly enjoyed my first visit. The waitress was extremely pleasant. The food was delicious. The price for the enchilada plate with a chalupa special was outstanding considering the price of everything has gone up. Plus they have Kool-aid!!!! I highly suggest supporting this small mom and pop business. We definitely need more like this!

Burgers were great. Onion rings and fries were very good. Staff was friendly. It was a little breezy with the ceiling fans on full blast but they did offer to turn them down. The parking lot suuuucks. Giant potholes. I've noticed that's a common theme with good hole in the wall restaurants so maybe I shouldn't complain.

Nice little restaurant with a cute outdoor eating area! Great atmosphere inside & out. Friendly staff! Love the big drinks that come in small pitchers. Lemonade & Koolaid! My chili cheeseburger with bbq sauce was so tasty. Meat seasoned well. The fries are SO GOOD! Good portions for the price. Wish the chili was homemade but burger was still good.

Found this little place and was my first time. If I’m ever back in San Antonio, I’ll be back. I had the Jalepeno Popper burger and Buffalo Fries, both excellent choices. The regular fries were cooked to perfection. Service was outstanding.

A small hole in the wall joint for some burgers and fries. There are maybe 5 tables indoors. The ones outside had no shade, so that wasn't an option. The service was fast and friendly. We had the mushroom Swiss, breakfast, and frito pie burgers. Burgers were a nice size and very flavorful. The fries were seasoned perfectly and freshly made. Cheese sticks had a nice pull but didn't take a photo of that.

Our 1st time trying this place out. My son got the bean and cheese nachos - good. I got the Patty Melt - tasted great and HUGE - could definitely part for at least 3-4 meals or share with someone. I barely ate half, plenty of food. Service was very attentive!

What a great place to have a burger! I had the pineapple burger and that was mildly messy but VERY delicious! If there is any con is there food may be a bit salty but I didn’t think it was off putting. Love the idea that they have condiments from Whataburger and ChikFila. Great idea! I’ll probably be back for lunch again.
